Tab Trade — The Short Version
TabTrade went live in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It says the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still better than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something this new, the breadth is broad.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That would be a good addition once it is live.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
This is the area where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the detail that matters. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It should be part of your decision.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it is your call.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you commit.
