TabTrade - What It Is
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
His background tells you something. It means the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.
What You Trade On
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Many people like it better than MT5 once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That will make the platform set when it lands.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not relevant to most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The speed is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Regulation
Now, the part that matters. TabTrade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. But be part of your decision.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it comes down to your priorities.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.
